Nearly 20 years ago at California Memorial Stadium, Fiat Growth Co-Founders, Drew Glover and Alex Harris first met. Among a #4 ranked team full of 58 future NFL players including Hall of Famers (Aaron Rodgers, Marshawn Lynch, DeSean Jackson, Justin Forsett, Alex Mack, Cameron Jordan) a student manager befriended a walk-on wide receiver.
Through the years at Cal, Drew and Alex developed a lasting friendship built on trust, communication and mutual respect. On this team of stars, it was this bond that turned out to be the most impactful.
Over the last 5+ years, these two old friends have built a new brand of company as a growth shop for 150+ companies and counting, having driven 9 exits, $1B+ in revenue and reverse engineered venture capital through Fiat Ventures.
UC Berkeley is near and dear to our hearts and our journey every day. Our company names Fiat Growth and Fiat Ventures is even a reference to the Cal motto "Fiat Lux".
This month Drew and Alex came full circle as they were invited to return to the Haas School of Business to speak. A surreal moment, Drew and Alex proudly stood on the Haas Campus with California Memorial Stadium squarely behind them. This special moment marked a reminder of the power of two friends coming together with pure focus and dedication.

The two friends have now been joined by Fiat Ventures Co-Founder and Managing Partner Marcos Fernandez, Fiat Ventures Vice President, Caitlin Keep, a team of 35 full-time employees at Fiat Growth, and 120+ advisors at Fiat Advisory to continue this journey that began 20 years ago.
