A year of scale, community building, and investment

2025 was Fiat Ventures’ most active year yet across sourcing, client work, community, and collaboration. Across 60+ events alone, the broader Fiat ecosystem brought together 3,600+ unique attendees, reflecting the density of founders, operators, and investors now orbiting the platform. These touch points translated into ~3,500 companies met across all Fiat organizations, with Fiat Ventures reviewing roughly 1,000 companies directly.

Alone, this year at Fiat we saw record breaking growth across the board including:

  • Fiat Growth produced 60+ in-person events, partnered with 17 event clients, and managed $2M+ in event budgets

  • Fiat Finance reached $800k+ in ARR just over a year after launch w/ clear momentum to $1M

  • Fiat Growth deployed $75M+ in marketing spend across clients, driving well over 2x that amount in revenue

  • We built and launched proprietary event-matching software and began selling it to other event creators

  • We expanded margins by leveraging AI infrastructure, combining proprietary builds with productized workflows and services

  • We helped launch Uncovered Media, partnering with Silicon Valley BankStripeCleverTap, and Perkins Coie, and launched multiple podcasts across founders, operators, and VCs.

  • We leaned into an event and content partnership with Nicole Casperson and Fintech Is Femme - more to come on this :)

  • Fiat Growth continued scaling its execution and performance engine, delivering measurable outcomes for fast-growing companies.

These top of funnel interactions aren't just a pipeline for our firm. It's a network, a community, and an ecosystem that helps us back and support the best founders in the Fintech space. Over the past year, we've productized how we utilize our ecosystem to ultimately close six new investments; reverse engineering the traditional venture model.

A year of scale: ~3,500+ companies, 5,000+ interactions

This is not just “top‑of‑funnel vanity.” Every dinner, summit, client engagement, partner touchpoint and salon compounds Fiat’s context: who is building what, where capital is flowing, and which problems are attracting repeat entrepreneurial attempts. Over time, that context becomes an information advantage — shaping theses, informing market maps, and helping Fiat engage earlier and more thoughtfully with the founders it ultimately backs.

From ~1,000 company reviews to ~50 deep company diligences

Out of the ~1,000 companies reviewed, roughly 10% moved to a first call and about 5% advanced to deep diligence, capturing how Fiat converts broad awareness into focused evaluation. The team spends time where it has the most conviction: the intersection of healthcare & fintech, stablecoins & next‑gen payments, plus adjacent categories like e‑commerce enablement, AI‑native financial tools, and data‑rich infrastructure.

Fiat’s ongoing research and access to information across our organization is a key part of that filter, amongst several blog posts published in 2025: The 2025 Fintech Market Trends ReportThe Great Wealth Transfer, The Climate x Fintech Revolution, Stablecoin Market Map, and The Healthcare & Fintech Market Map give the team structured views into where value is accruing and which models are most likely to endure, allowing Fiat to quickly sort noise from genuine signal when new companies enter the funnel.

The Stablecoin Market Map remains a core lens for teams building around cross‑border finance, merchant payments, wallets, and treasury—segments where stablecoin supply and on‑chain volume have already reached large‑scale, real‑world usage. The Healthcare & Fintech Market Map plays a similar role in healthcare financing, billing, benefits, and analytics, where rising costs, payment complexity, and error‑prone billing continue to create openings for better financial infrastructure. Across both, Fiat’s diligence focuses on regulatory readiness, distribution, and whether products genuinely remove friction for end users.

Beyond these two maps, Fiat’s broader research further sharpens the filter on trends seen when evaluating companies. The Climate x Fintech Revolution piece tracks how climate disasters now drive hundreds of billions in annual losses and a widening protection gap, and highlights insurtech, mobility, and natural‑resource financing models that use data, AI, and new rails to underwrite a more resilient economy. The Great Wealth Transfer explores an estimated $84 trillion shift from Baby Boomers to younger generations, profiling AI wealth copilots, digital estate‑planning platforms, financial‑literacy tools, and values‑based investing infrastructure that align with next‑gen expectations for digital, personalized, and values‑aligned finance. The 2025 Fintech Market Trends Report then zooms out to synthesize these threads — AI, embedded finance, stablecoins, climate, and demographic shifts — into a forward‑looking view of where value is accruing in fintech, giving Fiat a structured playbook for filtering companies and deciding where to concentrate its time, diligence, and capital.

6 investments, backed by a deep network

From those deep‑diligence processes, Fiat Ventures wrote six investments in 2025, primarily focused in the earliest Pre-Seed and Seed stages. They share a few common threads: operating at important intersections of finance and other adjacent verticals, using data intelligently deep within financial services, and delivering clear value to end customers solving real pain points today.

Crucially, these companies are not selected in isolation. Fiat Ventures now collaborates on deal flow with 200+ other VC firms, and LPs from 100+ institutions attended Fiat events during the year, reinforcing the fund’s role as a connector in the ecosystem. On top of that, ~50 sponsors partnered on events, helping to underwrite a community model that benefits both portfolio companies and the founders Fiat Ventures is just beginning to know.

What we’re looking forward to in 2026

The 2026 Trends Report (which we will publish in Q1 2026) will dive deeper into specific themes, but several areas already sit at the center of Fiat’s roadmap. The through‑line is simple: innovation has to matter for real people, and the impact on end consumers needs to be both meaningful and economically viable.

  • Healthcare & Fintech: Tools that streamline payments, modernize benefits management, and unlock smarter uses of HSA/FSA and other account‑based products, reducing friction for both patients and providers.

  • Stablecoins and Programmable Money: New rails for cross‑border payments, B2B settlements, merchant checkout, and treasury operations that build on the momentum of the stablecoin ecosystem and its growing transaction volumes.

  • Vertical AI Applications: AI embedded directly into financial, healthcare, and operational workflows — resolving billing issues, automating back‑office work, enhancing underwriting, and delivering better experiences without adding complexity.

  • Climate and Energy Fintech: Financing, payments, and risk tools that enable deployment of climate and energy infrastructure, as well as consumer products that reward more sustainable behavior in ways that feel simple and intuitive.

  • Insurtech and Data Platforms: Data‑rich infrastructure that helps insurers and risk‑bearing entities better measure, price, and manage risk — similar in spirit to what’s emerging in healthcare and wearable‑driven analytics — but applied across new verticals.

Across all of these, Fiat will continue to do what 2025 proved it does best: show up consistently, meet a lot of founders, apply a disciplined filter, and then lean in hard when conviction is high.

We’re grateful to have you as part of our ecosystem, and look forward to finding more ways to partner together!
