ZeroClick Acquires Sleek to Bring AI to the Browser

ree

At Fiat Ventures, one of the most exciting moments is when one of our portfolio companies achieves something transformative. We’re proud to spotlight Sleek, a company we backed from the early days, which has just been acquired by ZeroClick. This isn’t just an exit; it’s validation that the vision Sleek set out to execute on is more relevant than ever—and that their team’s relentless focus on building browser-native experiences is reshaping how people shop online.

Who is Sleek?

Founded in 2021 by Adam MacEachern, Daniel Baum, and Palmer McCutcheon, Sleek’s mission was simple but ambitious: build AI agents that automate important eCommerce flows for online shoppers, add in couponing & rewards, and do it all without forcing users or retailers into heavy integrations. Sleek works with consumer businesses to power these experiences across mobile and desktop via shopping apps, in-app browsers, and browser extensions.

The three founders met in university and have been friends for nearly a decade.

While still small in headcount, Sleek amassed early traction and was able to grow to 7-figures ARR while staying lean and profitable. Sleek had raised capital in a Seed funding round following their time at Y Combinator, with Fiat Ventures among its investors.

About ZeroClick (the Acquirer)

ZeroClick is building the ad network for AI.

For developers/businesses, ZeroClick represents a new monetization opportunity; make money from your user-facing AI experiences. ZeroClick ads integrate natively into LLMs’ reasoning processes. Advertiser promoted context is considered by AI in real time as answers are formed, improving AI responses with timely, transparent, and highly relevant information and offers. That means a better experience for users, and new revenue for developers/businesses.

For brands advertising on the platform, ZeroClick gives them a new way to connect to customers. Instead of shouting the loudest or interrupting workflows, ZeroClick can help them deliver added context that’s genuinely helpful to the user.

The acquisition of Sleek plays directly into ZeroClick’s mission - connect people with additional context from advertisers in all of the places where they use AI to make decisions.

By incorporating Sleek’s infrastructure, models, and business relationships into ZeroClick’s platform, the combined entity aims to extend these capabilities, making them available to businesses ranging from browsers, apps, and extensions to new AI-native products and services.

Adam MacEachern, Co-Founder & CEO at Sleek, shares that:

Joining forces with ZeroClick represents an exciting new chapter for Sleek. ZeroClick shares our vision that AI interfaces are where some of the most important user experiences happen. Together, we’ll accelerate ZeroClick’s mission to help developers monetize their AI experiences, while helping brands reach their audiences through AI. The entire Sleek team is joining ZeroClick and we’re more energized than ever about what we can build.

Why This Matters

In the not too distant future, nearly every product will have an AI experience. For many products, AI will be at the core. However, outside of traditional monthly subscriptions or ad hoc fees, developers have no clear way to monetize AI.

ZeroClick changes that. ZeroClick’s MCP enables AI developers to unlock monetization by enriching answers with the most relevant content from top brands.

As a result, entirely new business models will be enabled by ZeroClick. AI businesses will be able to serve millions of users with free, ad-supported models that were previously not possible.

The acquisition of Sleek also builds on this in an important way. With Sleek, ZeroClick will be able to work with some of the most prominent consumer businesses and publishers to create novel AI experiences that have ZeroClick monetization baked in from the start. It represents new revenue channels for these businesses, and unlocks entirely new surfaces for brands to reach their audiences in a natural, high-context way.

Fiat Ventures & the Journey

From our side, supporting Sleek has been one of the core investments that aligns with how we view early-stage fintech + commerce + UX technology.

We believe in investing not just capital, but hands-on support: helping build the product, think through growth, product-market fit, and long-term vision. Sleek’s founders have always pushed boundaries—whether in tuning AI models to understand and interact with webpages, navigating enterprise contracts, or scaling merchant relationships early.

Adam mentioned that “It’s thanks to our incredible team, the support of our investors (like Fiat Ventures), and the trust of our customers that we’ve been able to accomplish what we have.”

Looking Forward

  • For Developers/Businesses: New monetization models are here, especially for those building AI experiences. Sleek-powered features + the ZeroClick ad network will lower the integration burden and open new revenue streams.

  • For Brands/Advertisers: You can now reach AI users with your story. As search moves to AI, new platforms like ZeroClick will allow you to add valuable context at every step of the journey.

  • For the Industry: This exit underscores that the scope of what’s possible with AI continues to expand. With new technologies and monetization layers like ZeroClick, the aperture of what developers and businesses can do with AI will continue to grow.

Seeing Sleek’s journey from their early days to this acquisition is deeply gratifying. Congrats to Adam, Daniel, Palmer, and their whole team—and look forward to seeing them shaping the future of AI-assisted commerce in their new chapter with ZeroClick.
